The four-transformations article already named the marks and warned you that Lu is not a deposit. This page is the work-week version: you saw a mark, you have a job or pay fork, and you want the mark to decide.
On a work or money question, the four transformations (四化) are weather only when they land on a star in the room you asked — Career (官禄宮), Wealth (財帛宮), or the facing room the Tuesday named — and they still do not promote, fire, or raise you. If you need the four names, natal versus annual, or school tables, use Si Hua and come back. This page will not reprint the textbook.

Marks are verbs, rooms are the subject
A usable unit is still a triple: this star + this mark + this room. “Hua Ji this year” is a poster. “Hua Ji on the star that sits in Career” is a work sentence. “Hua Ji on the star that sits in Life” is a self sentence. Do not import the Life sentence into a job fork because the daily layer already talks about Life.
For a work question, keep the mark if it touches:
- 官禄宮 — weather in the job-function
- 命宮 — weather in the person walking in, used only as color
- 夫妻宮 — only when the fork is job versus bond
- 財帛宮 — only when the fork is pay, not role
- 福徳宮 — only when “enough” is in the question
If this year’s four marks miss those rooms, say so. “This year’s Si Hua is not about this fork” is a complete answer. Hunting a mark in Travel so the sitting stays dramatic is how people quit over a palace they did not ask.
Do not build a stem-by-stem catalog here. Schools disagree about who takes which mark. Label the school you are using. Do not average two apps.
What each mark may say at work — and may not
These are ordinary-language permissions, not fortunes. The furniture in the room (the major star) still sets the job. The mark changes how the room fricts.

Lu on Wealth is not a bonus. It is reduced friction in the resource room — an invoice easier to send, not a client who pays twice. Quan on Career is more lever, not a title. Ke makes sloppy work harder to hide. Ji is a year to keep one ledger clean instead of reorganizing the company.
“Cycles & Timing” in a chaptered report is this table used once, on the room you asked. It is not a stack of decade plus year plus month plus a 2027 doubling.
A fictional quit-or-spend week
Sam — invented for this page — sees Hua Ji named on a star that sits in Career and wants to resign by Friday. The same feed shows Hua Lu on a star in Wealth and Sam wants to spend the emergency fund because “flow is open.”
Two rooms. Two marks. Neither is an instruction. A method sitting would write: “The job-function is the sore spot this year; the money room is less jammed.” The next steps diverge on purpose. Career-Ji might mean do not also reorganize the team; keep the one project that can be finished. Wealth-Lu might mean send the delayed invoices while the channel is open — the opposite of spending the floor.
Sam’s Life Palace is not invited to fire Sam. If a mark sits in Life, it colors how Sam occupies a life this year. It does not evict 官禄宮. The theft pattern is the same one Life and Career already named.
Natal Ji in Career is a standing texture, not a defect to cure. Annual Ji on the same room is a year when that texture has the microphone. Learn the standing room first. Then one annual overlay. Not both plus the month on the day you are already tired.
How to attach a mark without letting it hire
- Confirm the mark sits in a room the question named.
- Name the furniture (the star) before the weather (the mark).
- Write a description: jammed, gripped, visible, sore.
- Refuse an employment event. No firing, hiring, or raise in the sentence.
- Pick an ordinary step that matches the description, not the fear.
If you cannot do step one, you do not have a Si Hua work reading. You have a list of four words. Close it.
