You have a money fork and a plate. The mistake is to start in Career because work feels adult, or to start in a luck percentage because the page had a gauge. The question is about resources. The room for that is Wealth.
To read Zi Wei for a money question, take the question to the Wealth Palace (財帛宮), check Property (田宅宮) if the fork is about stored base, and read the facing Wellbeing Palace (福徳宮) for “enough” — you are not asking the plate for a balance or a buy list. This is a method page, not a forecast, and not a completed wealth report.
The rooms: 財帛宮, 田宅宮, 福徳宮. The format those rooms would serve: what a wealth reading is. If the fork is a role, use the work method instead.
Write the money question
“Will I be rich?” returns a poster. “What happens when I want a six-month cushion and this raise wants the cushion spent on overtime?” gives the plate a kitchen.
Write three parts:
- The recent money moment (an invoice unsent, a raise offer, a rent change).
- What feels unclear — inflow, outflow, or floor.
- Which choice is actually yours. You cannot choose a market. You can choose a transfer, a conversation, or a delay.
If the unclear thing is the job-function, you have drifted into Career. Keep the rooms split. Unknown hour: every palace is provisional. Do not pick the hour that makes Wealth look abundant.
A short read-order
- Name 財帛宮 and the major (or the empty). Income style: how resources arrive and leave. Not a net worth. Empty of majors is not poverty.
- Name the preference the room is allowed to speak. Security, freedom, or achievement. That is “Your Money Nature.” It is a preference, not a destiny.
- Add 田宅宮 if the fork is a floor. House, lease, stored base. A raise is not a house. A house is not a raise.
- Add 福徳宮 as the facing room. Money versus inner enough. A full account and a thin private mind is a readable disagreement.
- Add Career only if the money comes from a role change. Then write a second paragraph. Do not let 官禄宮 rewrite the wealth sentence.
- Add one layer of weather. A transformation that actually touches Wealth, Property, or Wellbeing. If none does, say this year’s marks are not about this fork.
- End with an ordinary step. List last month’s outflows. Name the number that would feel like enough. Send the invoice. Schedule the conversation. Do not buy a coin because a star looked open.

The five chapters a money report would use — nature, value-creation, blind spots, timing, path — map onto this order. Blind spots are the outflow you already recognize: the unsent invoice, the purchase that was mood, the delay you call “waiting for a better palace.” Timing is weather. Path is the errand. None of them is “in 2027 your assets double.”
A fictional raise that costs a week
Cam — invented for this page — is offered more money for a schedule that eats the evenings that currently keep the inner store open. A page says the Wealth Palace is “supported.” Cam hears a yes.
A method sitting would keep the overtime as the question. 財帛宮 might describe a preference for a visible number. 福徳宮 might describe an inner store that fills on those evenings. 田宅宮 might be quiet: the lease is fine. Career might describe a function Cam already knows how to do.
The useful pair is Wealth versus Wellbeing: “The number wants the hours that currently fund enough.” The next step is naming the number that would still feel like a raise without those evenings, or declining. The page that said “supported” skipped the facing room.
What not to do
Do not treat Property as a realtor. 田宅宮 is foundation, not a hot market.
Do not import Jupiter or a 2nd-house transit and call it 財帛宮. Other maps have their own money language. Keep them in their own paragraphs.
Do not read Life alone and decide you are “a person who struggles with money.” Ming Gong is the self-room. It colors Wealth. It is not a credit report.
Do not stack decade, year, and month marks on day one. Natal texture first, one annual overlay second. Stacking is how people decide the year is “impossible.”
How Whisper sits with this page
This method assumes a complete plate. Whisper’s daily layer uses simplified Zi Wei symbolism and does not walk 財帛宮. A daily sentence about “flow” is not steps one through seven.
