The form asks for two birthdays. It does not ask whether the other person is sitting next to you, whether they agreed to the sitting, or whether you plan to show them the page. Those are human questions. The software will proceed without answers.
Yes — you can do a compatibility reading alone, in the mechanical sense: one person can enter two dates, write a question, and read a preview without the other person present. Alone is a valid setup. It does not make the output more true, and it does not replace the other person’s answer.
The product definition is what a relationship reading is. The ethics of a private sitting are in a compatibility reading for one person and reading for yourself versus others. This page is the practical “can I?” — what the form requires, what it does not, and when you should wait.
What “alone” does and does not change
Alone changes who is in the room. It does not change the engines, the limits, or the need for a real situation.
You still need two honest birth dates. One date does not become a compatibility reading because you are curious about a person you have not met. You still need a question that belongs to you. “Do they like me?” is not yours to settle with software.
| Setup | What you can do | What you still cannot do |
|---|---|---|
| You, both dates, a written situation | Generate a preview and, if you choose, a full report | Verify their feelings or decide for them |
| You and them, same form | Read together after a private first pass | Make the page into a referee |
| You, one date, no situation | Produce a generic page | Learn anything you could not find in a public article |
The other person does not have to type. They do have to exist as more than a birthday you want interpreted. If you cannot name a recent moment you actually shared, wait. The form will accept a thin question. The sitting will not reward it.
What the form still requires from you
- Two birth dates you have a decent reason to have. A date they told you, a birthday you celebrate, a public date they share. Do not hunt.
- Times and cities only when you actually have them. A family story that it was “sometime in the morning” is not a time.
- A question written in first person, about your uncertainty and your next step. Eight questions will tighten a vague job.
- A plan for the page: private reflection, or a later conversation you will own. Not a screenshot in a group chat.
How to read a relationship reading is the same hygiene whether you are alone or not. Mark description versus instruction. Write one known sentence and one new one. Turn the new sentence into a question a person could answer.
If you cannot name a next step that is yours, you are asking the report to live someone else’s life.
When alone is the right setup
Alone is a good setup when you want language before you speak, when the other person is not available, or when you have not decided to involve them yet. Those are ordinary reasons. They do not add accuracy. They only change the audience.
Alone is a poor setup when you want a hidden ruling, when you are mid-argument and hunting a line to send, or when you already know the conversation and are using research as delay. Delay is a decision. Do not dress it as thoroughness.
If the bond is a friendship or a household rather than a romance, change the question before you open the form. Relationship readings for friends or family keeps a kitchen from being scored like a date.
Wait if you do not have a second date you can stand behind, if you are too angry to reread your own context, or if the only next step you can imagine is forwarding a paragraph. A page can prepare your sentence. It cannot deliver theirs.
What Whisper currently offers
Whisper’s Relationship Reading uses Western astrology, BaZi, and numerology with the birth details and context you type. The text is generated with AI for personal reflection; it is not a live consultation.
You continue with Google for a free preview. No card is required. Birth time and city can stay blank. The other person does not need an account. The full reading is an optional US$30 one-time purchase; no membership is required. Preview and purchase stay in My Readings on the same account you used.
Create a private preview for one question. Write the moment and the choice that is yours. If you cannot name that choice, close the tab. The software will not notice. You will.
This person is invented. Noor has been seeing someone for six weeks. They want language for asking whether midweek plans need a standing day. They do not want to spring a report on a person who has not agreed to be interpreted.
Noor enters two dates from birthday conversations, leaves times blank, and writes the midweek stall. The preview talks about different appetites for advance structure. That is enough to decide whether a longer report is useful. It is not evidence of commitment. Noor does not mention Life Path numbers at dinner. They ask what kind of notice makes a plan feel like care rather than a trap, and they accept a human answer.
Questions readers ask
Do I need the other person to sign in?
No. Whisper’s current Relationship Reading is generated from the details and question you submit. The other person does not need an account. Sharing later is a separate choice.
Is a solo reading less complete?
It is less conversational. It is not less calculated. Completeness tracks the honesty of the dates and the specificity of the question, not the number of people watching the screen.
Should I tell them I did this?
If the sitting changed how you will talk to them, tell them at the level of your question, not at the level of their chart. They did not hire the software.
