How to evaluate is the buyer’s eight questions. This page is the disclosure list a serious product should publish — the same way a lab notebook lists instruments.
If the marketing says “AI astrology” and the method page is empty, you are buying how LLMs generate horoscopes plus a birth-date field.

Sky frame. Tropical / sidereal / both. Ayanāṃśa name if sidereal. Sidereal vs tropical.
Time. Time zone source (IANA vs offset), what happens at DST, what happens at “unknown.” Noon placeholders must be labeled as placeholders.
Houses. System name. Whether overlays and composites use the same system.
Orbs. A number. “Our unique orbs” is not a number.
Daily line ingredients. Example: “transiting Moon aspect to natal Sun/Moon, plus one enabled extra system.” If fifteen systems are “on,” say how many sentences you actually emit and how ties break. Oracle stack.
Model role. Calculator vs writer. If an LLM writes the paragraph, say so. If it cannot see the chart and is only completing “you are a…”, say so.
Refusals. No medical, no legal, no “they will come back.” If the model can be jailbroken into those, that is a product bug.
Sources / tradition. Wilhelm vs Legge for I Ching; Lahiri vs KP for Jyotiṣa; which rune futhark. Apps that mix without labels produce fake contradictions.
