People open a Ten Gods table and look only at wealth. Direct, indirect, missing, stacked — then they treat that one cell as a bank. The other four pairs were already talking about money: what you make, what feeds you, what a role pays, what you share or leak.
For a money question, the Ten Gods are five relational verbs — produce, claim, feed, meet structure, stand among peers — aimed at a decision you already have, not a forecast of income and not a buy list. The wealth element is one of those verbs. It is not the whole sitting.

Five pairs, five money sentences
A report that only says “good money luck” has not started. A report that can finish these sentences can be used:

Your Money Nature — security, freedom, or achievement — is often audible in which pair is loud. Resource may prefer a cushion; output a project that can invoice; officer a known grade. Preferences, not destinies.
Resource as income language has its own caution: resource stars and income. Do not promote resource into a trust fund.
A money question is not “will I be rich”
“Will I be rich?” returns a stamp. “What happens when I want six months of rent in the bank and this year wants a risk I cannot name?” gives the roles somewhere to stand.
Write the number that would feel like enough, the outflow that worries you, and which choice is actually yours: raise a rate, keep a salary, pause a purchase, name a debt plan. You do not need palace vocabulary. You need a fork.
Work is next door. If the fork is a title or a team, use Ten Gods for a work question and what a career reading is. Mixing “quit” and “buy a coin” into one luck sentence is how two rooms collapse. In Zi Wei they are already different rooms: 官禄宮 and 財帛宮. In BaZi they are different roles.
A fictional rate conversation
Naomi — invented for this page — is a Bing Fire Day Master with a visible Metal stem. The note says “Indirect Wealth” and a forum translates: entrepreneurial, take more risk, the market is your friend.
She has a salaried job and a small freelance line. Indirect wealth becomes a script to drop the salary and trade. The chart did not see her rent, her dependents, or last quarter’s actual invoices.
A narrower reading of the same label: this natal map talks about resources in a less booked way. That can describe why the freelance line feels more alive than the grade. It cannot tell her to day-trade. The ordinary test is a floor rate, a three-month cap on unpaid hours, and a cushion number she can survive. How to read BaZi for a money question is the protocol for that kitchen table.
If a later page promises that in 2027 her assets double, she can leave that tab. Critique is allowed. Diligence is still a spreadsheet.
Blind spots the pairs actually name
Ten Gods are useful on money when they name a leak you already half-see:
- Stacked wealth — you keep counting and never send the invoice, or you count instead of sleeping.
- Stacked output — you produce without a price.
- Stacked resource — you stay in the library, or in the benefits package, past the point of a decision.
- Stacked officer — you wait for a title to make the number legitimate.
- Stacked peer / rob-wealth language — you undercharge to keep the room kind, or you treat every split as theft.
None of those is a moral score. Each can become a Blind Spot chapter if a money report is ever written with chapters instead of a percentage. Cycles & Timing would then say when a year makes one leak louder — weather, not a curse. Path to Prosperity would end in one ordinary step: list last month’s outflows, name the enough-number, or schedule the conversation you have delayed.
Reading BaZi without fatalism is the refusal that keeps this from becoming a poverty or riches script.
What honesty looks like on this page
Whisper does not currently sell a full Wealth Palace report. The daily layer uses simplified Zi Wei symbolism, not a completed 財帛宮 engine. When a money report exists, it should walk nature, value-creation, blind spots, symbolic timing, and a next step — not a luck score.
Do not send a money question through the Relationship Reading checkout. That product compares two people. It is the wrong door.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wealth star the only Ten God that talks about money?
No. Output, resource, officer, and peer all speak. Wealth is the claim. The others are how the claim is made, fed, structured, or shared.
If my wealth star is “strong,” am I lucky with money?
Strength language is chart climate, not a portfolio. A loud wealth role can also mean you never stop managing. Test a real number.
Can Ten Gods pick an investment?
No. A symbolic map is not diligence. If you need that work, you need a different professional.
Do I need all ten names before I look at a bill?
No. One loud pair and one missing pair, aimed at a fork you can execute, is enough for a bias.
