Genetic Matrix Review 2026: Free Chart, Plans and Who It Suits

Quick verdict: Genetic Matrix is a Human Design charting platform for people who want to work with charts: their own, their family’s and, for practitioners, their clients’. The free Starter plan creates charts for up to five people. The paid plans are inexpensive compared with MyBodyGraph’s full access and unlock unlimited charts plus transit, cycle, connection and family charts. It is a charting tool more than a teaching tool, so beginners may want to learn the basics elsewhere first.

What Genetic Matrix Is

Genetic Matrix is an independent Human Design platform, unaffiliated with Jovian Archive, which runs the official MyBodyGraph site. It has been used by Human Design students and analysts for many years, and it describes itself as offering Human Design and “Astro HD” services, which combine Human Design charts with astrological timing.

Its focus is the chart itself: accurate calculation, several ways of viewing the same design, and tools for comparing charts and following them over time. It is less focused on long written interpretations than MyBodyGraph’s paid analyses.

Plans and Pricing

Genetic Matrix publishes four plans. Its pricing page shows promotional prices beside regular prices, so confirm the current figure at checkout.

Transit, Cycle, Connection and Family Charts

Human Design describes four connection types: electromagnetic (each person has one half of a channel), companionship (both share the same channel), dominance (one person has a full channel the other lacks entirely) and compromise (one has a full channel and the other has only one gate of it).
• Family charts (Advanced) map dynamics across a group, which is useful for parents and teams.

Genetic Matrix vs MyBodyGraph

Choose Genetic Matrix if you already know the basics and want inexpensive tools for transits, cycles, relationships and families, or if you work with clients and need many charts.

Choose MyBodyGraph if you are new, want unlimited free charts, or want a long written analysis of your own chart in Ra’s original terms.

What Genetic Matrix Gets Right

Low-cost access to serious tools. Unlimited charts, transits and family charts cost less per year than a single MyBodyGraph partnership analysis plus transit tools.

Clear chart layers. Separate Personality, Design and Quantum views make the mechanics of the system easier to understand.

Built for many charts. Saving, exporting and comparing charts for family or clients is part of the core design, not an afterthought.

Where It Falls Short

It assumes you know the vocabulary. The interface is organized around chart types and mechanics. Beginners who do not yet know what an Authority or a defined channel is may feel lost. Learn the basics first, for example with MyBodyGraph’s free essentials, then return to Genetic Matrix.

Less written guidance. If you want someone to explain your whole chart in prose, Genetic Matrix is not primarily that product.

Before You Pay: Check Your Birth Time

Every Human Design platform uses the same calculation, so a different Type or Profile on two sites almost always means the data differed: birth time, time zone or daylight saving time.
